Default MotorGuide Parts

Anybody know a place around Lake Charles or have a good website for trolling motor parts? I have a #54 motorguide that needs a new switch assembly. I know Lake Charles Tackle does repairs but not sure if they would just have the part I need. Suggestions?

Anyone ever used Boats.net?

Any shop that does repairs should have it in stock. That is a normal stocking item for any trolling motor shop.

Just called there. Guy said they should have it or could get it but he wasnt sure exactly. He said to go up there when the TM repair man is there and he could help me out. Found some online, will probably just order one.

I suggest you stick with local for parts. If you order the wrong one it will be a headache.

If you want, give me the part and I can go by in the morning. Better yet, go by and see Blake, give him the part, he can check with TM guy in the morning. Problem solved. The TM guy doesn't have to he there to sell you the part, just get you the correct part.

Just call them in the morning and have him pull the part and have it at the counter. Look at it tomorrow afternoon when you get off. If its right, buy it.

Got it at LCT. Didn't have the one with the leads already on it like I wanted. Not a problem. Guy took me to the tm shop and we got it off the shelf. Thanks for the help guys. I noticed they was representing the sc tourny flyer. Assuming that was your handy work Paul.

Yep and trying to get them to be a sponsor on SaltyCajun.com also. Did you talk/meet Blake?

I know blake. One day I walked in and said "hey man, do you know Paul Myers?" He was speechless and kind of shocked for a second. I said when you see him tell him you met Lake chuck Duck. He laughed and said ok. Good dude.
