Default Locations for flounder gigging in Lake Charles area??

Can anyone help. I'm trying to find a place around the Lake Charles area to do some wading flounder gigging. I went down to holly beach but the water wasn't clear enough to see anything might have just been a bad night.

Do you have a boat?

If you can get to the flats all along the ship channel by prien you could do some good possibly

A kayak will get you from cal point to the entrance canal into lng. the south bank has a flat thats real shallow that I have known people to gig at. it follows the length of canal until just before lng opens up.

Flounder haven't moved to the beaches yet.
This area is not as good for gigging as from Biloxi going East.
