looks like i will start doing my homework and talk to some guys with experience to give it a try next season. Any pointers as far as wma's, equipment etc would be much apreciated. Thanks

Most WMA's are lottery for turkey. Kisatchie is open all the time and has a good number of turkeys.

I've had turkeys close. Spitting and what I thought was drumming. But the birds we killed this weekend were making a sound Ive never heard. It sounded exactly like a bass drum and were making a rhythm with it. A sound you can't explain but never forget that's for sure.
