Default Riceland Spec Call Question

I see on their site that there's a new "2015 3/4 gut speck call". How are these guts different than my current 5/8? Really like my call and just wondering if new one is any better.

Default Pitch

The pitch seems higher. I haven't worked with mine much, may just need to tune it.

For what it's worth.
I have a 5/8 my buddy has a 3/4, I prefer my 5/8 but mine is tuned to my calling style.

Ive blown them both, I prefer the original 5/8. I find the 3/4 is just to pitchy.

I've heard good things about Riceland service (how they'll help you tune it if you go by there and all).
Do they have a shop or just call, order and get with them about it?

I don't blow one or own one but I would say that the original 5/8 is better, especially a wooden one, don't find the 3/4 very impressive but people are killing geese with them

When I bought my riceland calls they were still in Poche town. They sat with me about an hour tweaking and tuning and giving me tips until it was perfect. Top notch guys and calls.

redleg one, yes call production is resuming now that the season is over, you can contact me or garret or email him, on the Riceland subject if you can find a cocobolo or a dense wood that your comfortable with I would stick with it, not nocking the 3/4 but I don't find they have the tone as the originals
