And you have probably been having that lease for 10+ years as well. There are some very good rice field blinds in south LA, just very hard to come across now a days.

X2, I know guy that has lease and he is able to water buffalo his cut at least once every two weeks during the season. This makes a big difference. However, the marsh is overall better day in and day out than rice fields.

I am a strong believer in true 'flyway' patterns of ducks. I have hunted in private rice field blinds that are truly amazing in the numbers of birds that they produce and then in leased fields that just don't seem to come close to that production over those same periods.

In general, I am sure the rice fields that do not have a blind every 100 acres (which most do if leasing) are better than ones that have a blind every 500 acres. That is the difference between leasing land vs private land.

the thing with people leaseing blinds is they over hunt them an they sky bust birds you cant hunt a blind twice a day every day of the hunting season an expect the birds to stay there if you are a avid waterfowl hunter you would know that the birds sence pressure an when they start feeling pressure they move you just have to know how much you can hunt the same blind in one year. An another thing is you have to change your decoy spread up take your goose decoys out the field everyday when your done hunting move the duck decoys around three four times a years give the birds something diffrent to look at i guide an if i hunted the blind are left the decoys the same all year i wouldnt kill half the birds i do

Just wondering if any of you avid duck hunters have ever put a trail camera out over your decoy spread?
