Default Wind and Weather

What do you guys use to see a wind forecast. I currently use NOAA.gov. Wanted to see if ya'll liked something better or knew of something that predicts further than 3 days out.

Also, are there any free websites to see where the rip is?

I use an APP called BuoyData. It lists all the NOAA weather buoy's. From there select calcasieu pass buoy. on the bottom of the screen there is a link for the NWS weather forecast for that location. It is a week forecast.

Yea, i've been using BuoyData for a few years now and really like it for real time weather.

Windfinder is nice also.

I guess predicting the wind is harder than predicting the weather.

Sparky, Look on the bottom of the screen once you select a buoy. There is a icon that looks like a wave or something like that. Third icon from the left. It will give you the weather and wind forecast for that area. It shows seven days out.

Same as going to NOAA.gov directly.

Thanks for the Louisiana Offshore link, I just joined.

I may invest in Hilton if I can see myself going offshore enough to pay for it.
