Default Opening Weekend

Sat was a good hunt in Johnson Bayou, Sunday we ended up a couple of birds short. We shot a two man limit on Monday but had to shoot scaup (they are everywhere on my leases right now). Back at work right now but looking forward as always to my next hunt.

Looks like some strong north wind on Sunday which hopefully will bring down some additional birds then a big front for Thanksgiving.

Overall we do not have as many birds in and around our leases as last year so hopefully this weather does the trick.

What are you guys seeing?

Our area south of the Hwy in GC is holding a large concentration of green and blue wing teal. Hope they stick around until those fronts push new birds down. Limits both Sat and Sun.

Slowed down after Sunday without you and the rest of the guys to keep them moving. They still there as of today, just not moving around much.

Hey T! Gotta give them a little rest! I think maybe 1 blind in our area will be hunted this weekend.
