Default Indoor batting cage in lake charles

I am looking for a cage to go and work with my boys while we are in town this week with the cold weather. I would prefer something in Sulphur since we are coming from Hackberry but lake charles works. Any help would be appreciated.

Bullet baseball may. They are not typically open to the public, but they will do anything to make a buck. That's why they are in existence.

Can you pay bullet by the hour to use a cage? We have several indoor places in houston that will rent a spot to you by the hour.

Composite bats can break in temperatures below 60 degrees. A couple of swings on a $300 Mako with temperatures this low and that bat is done. The rain of course isn't fun either but we usually just deal with that. Hackberry High School has a cage with a roof that we use all of the time but that won't help with the temperature issue.

Thanks anyway guys, guess we will head to Beaumont at some point. I am really surprised, I know this area puts out a ton of talent and select ball tournaments are very common in the area.

Opportunity for a new business....

You got a point there. Once them comps gets hot it's time to pick them up for game time.

I had talked about building a indoor pitching batting facility in Lake Charles but not sure the demand would be good enough to support it. I have a covered cage at home but its to damn cold to hit in.

I don't let the kids use there good bats in the cage. Can't hit it but 50' anyway so why waste them ya know.

I just helped someone look into another indoor facility over in Texas. You need at least 5,000 square feet and unless you have pro coaches giving you a cut of there lessons it's tough to make money in that business. You can put four cages in that facility if you have the perfect layout.

An eight cage facility can make money but again your right it's all about demand, of course an 8 cage is more risk.

We have a 12 cage within three miles of my house and it does well but it has six full time pro coaches using the facility and that keeps the cages full in the off season.

Very cool on the backyard cage, I need to get one at my house.

Just curious. What age boys are we talking about? Must be pretty serious if they can't make it through the holidays without some BP.

Ruff est on cost per year would be $30,000 and that might be on the low side. I don't see any profit in a town as small as LC.
