Default Rockefeller on Thursday

Anyone planning on heading to the Rock this thursday?

I am thinking of making the trip down to get after some Shrimp & Crabs, Planning on being down there around 7am or so.

The refuge is open at 10 AM everyday until the gator hunting season ends on Friday, Oct 4th then the refuge will open from sunrise to sunset as usual.

Are you certain about the 10am thing till oct 4th. What i am reading here http://www.louisianasportsman.com/details.php?id=5624 says that the 10am thing is only in effect for 7 days after sept 4th?

I would like to get there at sunrise to take advantage of the last bit of the outgoing tide running till 9am.

I'm not saying i doubt you just want to make sure.

I passed through there yesterday for work. Shrimp and crabs seemed to be very plentiful from everyone I talked to. Shrimp were a pretty good size.

go get em....gonna be packed down there this weekend now. haha
