Default V. Bay sat. Roll call

Who's going to Vermillion Bay Tomorrow? Looks like it rained quite a bite today around marsh islands.

I'll be headed out mid morning

Would be going out of ICY to beat up the marsh ponds for some reds, but I'm on call and pretty sure the water is still nasty inshore

Welcome to the site, keep interacting and be sure to post a report with pictures in the fishing reports section - this will get you cash to use for raffles that take place throughout the year.

Plus, we need more Lafayette area contribution!

I had plans to go but will be working on the boat and trailer instead due to the impending weather.

Have three weeks left to get the rig ready for snapper season!

Changing bearings on back axle of boat trailer.
Changing wash down pump so we will be able to wash down the boat while on the water this year (hasnt worked since we owned the boat)
Changing bilge pump and adding spare.
changing old fuel line to the blue ethanol friendly line in case we ever HAVE to run erhanol fuel.
Changing water seperator.

Last weeknd we re-wired trailer and changed bearing on front axle.

Still need to put a coat of wax on her too.

Going to be a lot of work but have to do everything possible to avoid any problems during the ELEVEN day season this year!

Good luck tomorrow!
Be safe and will be looking for any reports.

Going to be in Grande Isle 6th-11th.

You should come on down.

We have a group of 3-4 boats going to be out there.

I hope y'all know the bridge is closed on Hwy 83 again so you have to go around once again to make it to the Point. La has to be the only state that can spend millions building new bridges only to open them up for a little while and then figure out they have problems and close them again for weeks at a time. I think someone needs to beheld accountable at dotd

The are just east of N.I. got 1.6" of rain Friday night, so take this into consideration when making your fishing plans.

Be safe on the water

Dang, that sucks. Sorry your morning didnt go as planned.

What do you think caused the problem?
If it was a brand new hub I assume the bearings were new and freshly packed too.

Axle problems?
