Default Excel or alweld

I need some advise I have a guy wanting to trade me a 1651 excel duck boat for my 1748 Alweld duck boat. I have a 50 tohatsu 4 stroke. Which boat will run and turn better. What would be the better set up.

me personally, I don't know excel but I think alweld boats are just made better and have better quality then other boats and will last longer.

I must ask the obvious, why are you wanting to trade for basically the same boat? its not like there is much difference in them other then a few inches wider vs a few inches longer so I don't see you gaining anything at all

I own both and find the excel to be a better boat.

Both are good, I see no point trading, did he come to you about this trade or did you go to him. If he came to you he wants to get rid of it for a reason.
