When I use to come in the Spring to BL, you could load a cast net full of perfect size croakers for bait behind Grand Weir. Have they disappeared or what? I come in the fall now and don't seem to catch as many croakers in net but I'm not wanting them anyway.

I have called just about everyone west of the Mississippi and nobody has them. I got some last weekend in bridge city but wasted my money they were to small to produce any fish. If you have any numbers please message me.

Drove to Galveston yesterday from Lc got 144 really nice 4" croaker. 8 bucks a dozen. Woke up this morning to go fishing all dead. Using 20 gallon well with aretator and oxygen tank running on 1/8 the whole time. What happened?

Will this hold them overnight off the end of the dock? http://baitbaskets.com/products/bait...FZA8gQodB1sD7Q

picked them up at 11:30 lost about a dozen by nightfall. Had them fully shaded and periodically adding frozen bottles of water. None of the water leaked. Added 1 at a time in intervals as not shock them.

Was that 20 gallons of Louisiana water or Texas water?

Texas water never changed from the bait shop. Did not want to chance adding our fresh water.

They were one day old at the bait shop. Looked great but they threw a lot of scales and foam. Culled dead ones and scooped out foam and scales frequently.

I used something similar last year and the crabs cut into the net and I lost all the bait. However, this one does look stronger than the one I had.
