Haha I know the feeling. Last time I had to send mine off to be repaired, I couldn't take the wait so bought another pair. Got the repaired ones back and haven't worn them once yet cause they new ones are so comfortable.

I bought the "Corbina's." Got them off ebay tortoise frame and green mirror 400 lens for $130. I sent off the "Permit's" which I thought were most comfortable Costas ever. But "Corbina's" are where its at. Got Permits for back-up now. Only thing I like more about my Permits are the huge frames but Corbina is a pretty large frame also. Corbinas are the ones Im wearing in my avatar.

costa glass is second to none but their frames arent the best around. ive got 2 pairs of turbines and 3 pairs of fathoms at home with broken frames. i would like to see them come out with a titanium frame cause the plastic just dont last.

i got 2 pairs of triple tail costas.. love them.. one is a wave 400 bluemirror/grey lens had them 8 years.. nose rubber finally fell out.. gotta send em off.. and a set of 580 vermillions. those are AWESOME for sight fishing... fish stand out like a neon sign with those vermillion lenses!

on a seperate but related note,
i saw some glasses called flying fisherman at icast.. the owner of the company took a money clip from his pocket and grinded it across the glass lens.. and there was absolutly no scratching. he asked me "can i try that on your costas?" i just laughed, but he had a good point. costas scratch easily. the ff's also have better color differentaition than costa.. blue was blue.. red was red. i was very impressed. he told me that costa has been tryin to buy him out for awhile now. i can see why. i might get some ff's next time.
