Default Vermillion Bay

Heading to the VB in the morning on a scoutting trip was wondering if anyone has been to the weir at Redfish Point lately for some live bait. I'm going south of Marsh Island going to try the reefs and maybe a few close in platforms if the seas allow. I'll post report upon return, hope its a good one!

good luck im guessing your going after the elusive spotted sea trout of vermillion bay if your going bump the reefs then going hit the platforms. I heard but cannot verify that a few trout were being picked up at tbutes.

The river is dropping nicely and is currently under 9 ft. It will not be long the water will start to clear up and if the rain can stop the salinity will increase.
