Ok, so let me clarify for the inept, the majek would of been nice going across the reef but not the open bay that day!!!!!!!!!!!

So, going from 74 mph to 0 mph in 10 ft. would be better than 35 mph to 0 mph in 10 ft??? LOL

That was a choppy day. Should have stayed on the East side. But you got the scenic tour version of Big Lake, from the jettys to Calcasieu Point.
You saw everything there was to see, even the biggest reef in the lake, when it had only 6" of water over it.
