Default yamaha trouble

2005 sx200 txrd ox60,
on way in last night motor started slugging and then would only run about 7 mph. it would try to get up then just fail, though about prop but rpm did not rise when it failed. kinda acts like fuel but it does idle fine. looking for any ideas to check have trip planned this weekend. thanks.

Check all the fuel filters you have a canister filer and and vst filter. It sounds like the manual fuel pumps may be bad.

Yep fuel filters, when they are gunked up enough fuel can get through to idle but when you have a large demand full throttle its only getting enough for idle.

Chnage both, there should be one on engine and one on boat fuel filter/water seperator

There is a guy in Florida packaging tune up kits on eBay for that motor and many others. Plugs, filters, thermostats, water pump-complete, and all gaskets for under $200 bucks shipped. Just FYI
