Anyone hit the beach on the Island? I see the surf reports are starting to pour in. Bringing the yak down this weekend.

Storm mudded the water thur afternoon and it didn't clear till sat. Was to hung over to get in the surf Sat am. Should have, Lots o limits caught VERY early .

talked to a co worker who waded the surf sat. he found a gut about 30 yd wide at 8 am and 3 of them limited by 9:30.

Yep the fish are there but they aren't apread out like the usually are. You have to cover alot of water and when you find them stick with them. Also it seemed like when there was dolphins moving off the beach they would push the trout in close and we would catch good.
