Default first trip went well

Took the Kayak up the Amite yesterday evening and camped out on the beach. she handled great. very comfortable to ride. does real good with tracking and stability. Overall I am definitely satisfied and would recommend the Tarpon 120 to anyone interested.

no fish though

Is there a boat launch close to that beach? Is the river deep there?

Looks like a good place to load up the canoe and go camping. Might have to try that out.
