What models of kayaks have you looked at? Also, to help you out with suggestions: weight, height and what type of fishing.

Fly rod reds are a hoot in the kayak. Best one I got was about 28" but I have not thrown my fly rod since last summer. I need to bring it out again!!!

I would jump on the one in the classifieds for the price. If not, take a look at the Hurricane Phoenix 140. Great fishing kayak and fast!!

Hey Kenny, you can go by FTU on 45S, they have a tank you can test a few different models in there. You gonna get a fly rod also, may let my other one go if you are interested.

I was surprised first starting off with the fly rod I never got hooked. I do more damage to myself with topwaters like mirrolures and super spooks. Sitting in a kayak with a big red or trout with a topwater in his mouth and he shakes those treble hooks find your legs quick!!!!
