Default Finally got my new boat

Well I got my new Gator Tail last friday. Its a 1754 extreme with the 35 GTR. So far the only option it has is the trolling motor but I will be dropping it off thursday to get a rod box and pop up blind built for it. It'll also be getting Hoyt's stage 1 kit on the motor and I will install the Hydro Turf flooring when I get back in from offshore. I ran it on saturday and I love it. I averaged 27-28mph and bumped 29 a few times. Here are a few pics of how it sits so far.

There were a few other used rigs I looked at but you could tell that they treated them the same way I plan on treating this one so I decided to go with a new one that way I know exactly what it has been through and the maintenance that has been done. Its gonna be a long 4 week hitch in waiting to get back to run it with the new mods and chase some reds!

I know Gator Tail has a Gator Tail only tournament in Dularge usually every year I didn't know of one in Cocodrie. Do you have any other info on it?

Very nice rig man.. I am offshore waiting to get in to pick mine up same set up just no Camo paint.. Good speeds also.

It's not fun being at work and seeing pictures of it sitting in there yard waiting to be picked up. Them mods are going to be bad to the bone..
Congrats

I will.. This tourny is open to all MM's. we always have 100plus boats.. Last year it was 250 per boat, three best reds under 27 inches. 2-3 man teams. I will post all info once available. We are adding some new things this year

Sounds good. Hopefully I won't be offshore when it gets scheduled. It sometimes seems I'm always at work for the tournaments.

Thanks guys this is a totally different rig from my last one and I am ready to be able to go frogging again as well as sight fishing reds in some shallow duck ponds south of Houma again.
