Default Finally got my 1st yak, Hobie Outback!

I have been wanting to get me a yak for a while and finally bit the bullet and got a Hobie Outback with Mirage System used from a guy in Texas, got a really good deal and ready to slime this sucker up were does everybody yak around Lake Chuck!

Saw some people under 210 bridge this morning. Always yaks there, I guess because its close to the launch (if you launch from lafleur) and you can always catch there.

Other places to launch......all good fishing areas if the water is salty.

north side of I-10 [east side bank]

West Lake.....about a mile north of I-10

@ the Salt water barrier


I spent some time in a Yack last weekend but not the kind of boat designed for fishing......just for paddling around. No back support....for this old man. Yours looks great.

Take a quick run down I-10 and come visit us at Kerns' Landing in Henderson and take it for a spin in our great cypress swamp. Real good fishing Too.

Congrats bro. WARNING!!!!! Its very addictive!!!! I have 2 now and looking at getting another one before spring. Between all the kayaks and accessories over the last 6-7 years I could have a decked out bayboat!
