Would love to make it out to the rigs! How far from the beach to JB rigs? Anyone want to plan a trip?

That would be funny! Fleet of yaks at the 1st set of rigs! Seen 14-15ft aluminators at the 1st-2nd sets of rigs....hell...i've even gambled to venture 8 miles out once in an aluminator...but not sure i'd be one to yak from JB beach to the 1st set.
