Houston River 7/23

Made a quick trip on Houston River this morning. Water was low and clearing up, 89-90 degrees. Only found a few little bass on top water (Zara puppy) and a few bluegill on the fly rod (popper, 1? plastic minnow with 1/100th oz jig head)

Couldn?t find the crappie, where do they go this time of year ?

When I fish Houston River, I always wonder where ANY fish are.
Your reports are evidence that there are fish in there, and I need to tighten my game up.
