laptop is sick

My laptop will not load to the main page it is just black with the curesur that I can move but nothing happens no tool bar when I take it to the bottom or nothing. It will open up in safe mode thou, and all my icons are 3 times there normal size????? Thought about giving it two or 3 shots of lead but thought maybe someone had an idea to what was wrong or a number to a good teck place that could maybe fix it remotely???? It's Windows Vista.

Most any PC place will be able to help you out. Sounds like a virus. The purpose of safe mode is to open windows without any extra background programs and a smaller screen dimension.

Mine did this a few years ago and best buy changed my hard drive .. They said it was probably vibration that made it go bad

Maybe it needs some porn then. Of course, it doesn't stream as well in safe mode. Hahaha!
