Default Golf cart

Looking to buy a golf cart for wife and kids to ride around the neighborhood. What are the pros and cons on a gas vs an electric golf cart? (Besides having to replace 6 batteries on the electric one).

You shouldn't have to replace the batteries that often, plus I like the fact that they are quiet. Gas powered ones sound like and old go-cart with a 5hp briggs&straton motor.

I worked on a golf course. We had gas and electric. I preferred the electric . The gas has to have maint. and a lot of parts are outrages. The electric make sure terminals are tight and coat with anti corrosion or grease and keep plugged in to an automatic charger .
Check batteries every couple months for water level. Less parts to go bad but there are some expensive one's also. When you need batteries , which should last over a year go to a wholesaler and make up a buisness name and pay cash.
