They are to opposite extremes vocally ( trump and sanders ) who know what trump is really up to . All I know is this country is so f-d right now he is the last thing we need . We need a middle of the road conservative in office that will bring the party together along with appeal to the liberals who are on the fence ( not scare them away like trump)

I've ran my business by puffing out my chest and attacking anything or anyone that gets in my way and beating dead horses..... I can tell you first hand it does not work for long ! Being level headed , humble and fair has help me become more successful than anything

The political process is entertainment at best. Living in Tecas I have followed Cruz the last few years and there is a reason why Washington hates him. It's because he has gone there and has done exactly what he said he was going to do. Common sense conservative. He's not perfect, but neither was Reagan.

I don't see why we can't have Carson run healthcare, Trump run the economy, etc.... Egos too big o guess.

Parties Agendas changed (until about 40yrs ago) Peoples out looks change.

Now this Ted Cruise thing, to me its pretty simple, was he born on American soil? NO

Now with that said children born in foreign countries to members of the armed services are. They were sent there by the government of the United States. More then likely born in a military base, which is an extension of the United States sovereign soil.

Just because your mum is a citizen of the US but living abroad on her own free will, does not entitle you to the title of "NATURAL BORN CITIZEN". If an American (lets say a world reporter) goes, to N Korea, China, Russia, Syria, Iran and fathers a child in each of these counties, could we then (in the reasoning of Ted Cruz) have a president from N Korea, China, Russia, Syria or Iran that kept his corresponding citizenship up until he decides to run for POTUS ?

Something to think about

Default I for one don't want a "middle of the roader".....

We've put up those kind the last several rounds in the form of McCain and Romney and many Republicans stayed home. In the words of Reagan, we need bold colors, not pale pastels. If we miss out on a strong conservative leader this round, I don't think this country comes back from the abyss. Heck, we may not even with a strong conservative leader at this point after what Obama has done to us.

Thank you. Cruz is the ONLY one who will actually do what he says. He's the only one with a voting record to prove it. He's not scared to do what he says, and he's got just as big of balls as Trump. Hell, all the Trump supporters have zero clue what the guy will do in office. Sure he says the right thing, but everything he says now is 180 degrees opposite of what he was saying not too long ago. Blows my mind how many people support him just because of what he says.

If you want someone who will actually do what they say, and is pretty hardcore conservative, go with Cruz. Like someone else said, Rubio wouldn't be bad either. Trump, good luck with that.

Santorum and Paul were very overlooked candidates as well.

Voting records - most important tool for knowing what someone will actually stand for in office.

I won't vote for Trump if he gets the Republican Party nomination. I'm tired of voting against people. I'm going to find someone who's platform aligns closest with my values and vote for them whether they are a republican or a third party. Voting in self defense hasn't got us anywhere so I don't see a reason to vote for a poor republican candidate in fear that the democratic nominee will win. This thinking has gotten us candidates like John McCain and Mitt Romney and we see how that turned out.

Hmm. Anyone is better than Clinton or Bernie. I don't like Trump, and I really hope it dorsn't come down to that, but i'll sure as hell vote for him over whoever gets democratic nomination. If Bernie or Hilary get elected this country is done for.

Totally agree. The surest way to elect another liberal/socialist is to not vote or vote for a 3rd party.

You do realize by NOT voting, you are giving the Dems a 1/2 vote, Joe Smo didn't get Bush so hes NOT voting, one vote for HELLary.

Hell I don't like Cruz, But Ill vote for him if hes the nominee. I will give it to the Dems They do stick together, no matter their candidate.

This mind set that "my guys not the nominee so im not voting" is idiotic, selfish, as well un patriotic! Unless one has something to gain by voting Democrat they need to vote Rep, whom ever it is. Hell the last 8 yrs should encourage one to vote, unless you approve of the last 8.

Yeah one NONE voter wont make or break the election, but 1000s have died, so that I can!

Where did I say I won't vote? I just said I won't vote for Trump. I will vote for a third party candidate if Trump gets the nomination.

There will be plenty of people on the ballot besides the Republican and Democrat candidates. The Libertarian party will have a candidate among others. I really don't think any of the third party candidates have a chance at winning, but if one of those candidates align with what I'm looking for in a president I will vote for them.

Well THANKS for voting,

I've always known ahead of time who I was voting for too. If you don't know before hand you haven't done any research.

Voting for a 3rd party candidate is just like not voting because they have no chance. Remember Ross Peroit??
