it shoots about 1400 fps and 500 lbs of energy, louder and more flash than the .40, about the same recoil. it's basically a .40 casing necked down to a 9mm bullet. There are several advantages it has. Better penetration.

One major drawback is ammo availability/cost

wikipedia has a good write up on the caliber (357 sig)

I have the 33 excally like that... i didnt really care for it. Im not saying its a bad gun or anything. It really is a great gun, very dependable, im just used to the kimber, browning HP, colt 1911 model. Im a die hard 1911 shooter.

Bruce, have you ever tried the Spingfield XD-40? really awesome gun..

sweet azz gun..i still like mah 17...mah dad has him a xdm..and thats the only other gun that can give glock a run for its money..i love mah px4 storm 9mm but i love it for diff reasons than my glock...my glock..if someone is tryin to car jack me it can be drawn and shot off a few times in 3 seconds..no BS required..no safetys no nothin just pull up and shoot..

la ill have my green 31 here in a few days. i almost got the 31c but i want the green and they dont make the compensated models in green. i held a 31 and 32 but my hands are big so the 31 feels better to me. where did you get yours? price? dont tell me shooters.

i wish mine was OD green but i found mine in stock at academy, the only one they had. check your PM...

i lug this one around sometimes and the 32 is a tad bit easier to carry....
