Default I love our Louisiana life and heritage.......

Family got together last night, cooked a big meal and had a little jam session.

I just gotta show off a little. Last night was Hueys first time playing infront of anyone but me......and he did great!

Normally this would be a thread about what we cooked, but this puts the food on the back burner.........

Unfortunately that is the truth. I picked up some French in school and a good bit in Nova Scotia. After years of not using it I quickly realize how much I forgot when my grandparents starts talking to me. My parents never picked it up so I'm scrambling to learn as much as I can before they are gone. I hope to be able to pass some on to my son. He already LOVES Cajun music. The only way to calm him down is with Johnny Sonnier's "Chere Alice"
