Default A nesting pair of doves.

A pair of doves set up house in the corner of our pateo. I grabbed the video camera and got a shot of them. Here it is.

My Mother and Dad use to have them almost every year nest in hanging baskets. Then these plants died and the birds have not been back for many years.

I use to have 4 or 5 birds nest in bushes or trees every year. But now with the wife's 2 year old cat and the 4 neighbor's cats....... no nesting.

Our neighborhood is full of doves ya can hear them cooing early and late. I see them in the yard and perching along the high lines alot. They have nested in the yard before, but this is the first time on our patio we brought our yard cat in and will keep her there till they hatch.
