I got a couple that Theophile Bourgeois gave me, but I haven't thrown them yet. I think they would be great for redfish on the South Pass jetties at Venice.

Yep, balsa lure. Floater. Twitch on cold days.
That's how I rolled in my younger days.
I found it in my attic in an old tackle box.
The other one was chewed up, this one was
never used. Someone wanted the chewed up
one to add to their antique lure collection.

This was my other winter lure.
Poe's was a big lure company back then.
Don't know what happened to them, they
kinda died out in the 80's.

Bomber makes a real nice opening night soft plastic lure.
Their soft plastics look nice, but they are way too high
compared to the rest of the soft plastics.

The super pogie's a diving bait. Caught a nice red near east bank on one. Lost it on a reef and went and got another. Looks lik it would be good by the jetties. It's a loud rattler.
