Construction started in March 2018 and it was supposed to take a year. Hopefully, they are ahead of schedule.

Was something wrong with the launch? It's been a few years since I've been there but it was nice at that time.

The launch was fine. Not really sure why the Parish decided to spend the money to upgrade it.

I don't launch there very much, but the approach surface [asphalt] to the launch was still good.... had some "slightly" bad spots.

Parking area was gravel but in good shape. I don't remember seeing anything wrong with the bulkhead around the launch area.

Maybe "THEY" wanted to dig out the launch ramp some to make it easier for the larger boats to back in the water to off load the boat. The ramp slop was a little shallow.

Not too bad during the week. Even on Friday.

That's where some money should should have been spent.
A lot of people would launch there to go to lake charles. They
have plenty of area to make 2 or more launches in that area.
