Yeah, there you go. I don't know of many people that hunt quail though, not around here at least. I guess if you knew you had the population to sustain it, it would be awesome. But hey, dove, quail, its all fun to shoot.

Harrington rd. In holmwood used to hold alot of quail when we dove hunted at the dryers at the end of the road. Used to see and jump coveys all the time.

Just a up-date on the fields we planted in our area....notice how well the brown top is doing against the sunflowers....should be a good seasonsunflower.jpg

Guys, I would love to invite all! Would be a great time! If these were my fields that could work, but I'm just a pion in this deal! There are 7 hunters only that hunt those fields. Heck, even the hunt master/farmer has kids and brothers that can't hunt with us. I'm just one heck of a lucky person to have a long time friend that includes me in on the hunts. Sorry

There are other areas I do hunt that doesn't involve the club. On these hunts I can bring a gun or two. Will give you a holler when this comes up. Much rather shoot doves than ducks!

Do ya'll ever cut the sunflower seeds in the field during the season, or let them just drop seeds naturally
