I don't mind sharing the water but when im on a school of trout and someone comes hauling azz with there outboard and starts fishing and wonders why there not catching and leave 5 mins later. Cypremort point area is REALLY bad in the fall when the trout are inside, sometimes it looks like you can jump boat to boat.
I totally agree with you. I think my biggest pet peave while fishing is when some jerk-off come trolling right where I'm fishing! At SW Pass this past summer we were getting a few bites on the reef and this guy picked up anchor and trolled between where we were casting and our boat! That was the 2nd time he did that, the 1st time was to another boat. I took off my hook (just in case) put on a weight and one of those big green corks and starting throwing it right where he was going. He got pretty pizzed and left.

Amen brother! I don't have no shame in my game if its tough fishing i'll use live, dead, almost dead, gulp whatever it takes to put fish in the boat. I don't get to fish as much as I would like to so I do what it takes.

this all boils down to human emotion: greed.

Yeah man the people that fish the pass and tee butte are VERY rude. I rather chase redfish with nobody around, then hit some trout at night. If any of you never night fished for trout during the summer you dont know what your missing.

I hope they keep posting spots of biglake on the internet. Seems everybody wants to fish saltwater now so that just puts less pressure on my bass holes. Its just gotten so bad on biglake the last few years I quite fishing saltwater, havent even fished on biglake in 7 months and I live on it.

And yes there is still plenty of secret holes on biglake, my boat has averaged and keep well over 5,000 trout a year for the last 5 years, even worst when we could keep 25

Breton Sound is 10X bigger than Big Lake. During the summer, you gotta bring your own well to fish. Same way in Pontchartrain with the bridge poles.

All this mess is why I fish weekdays. And on weekdays, you still have the one or two
clueless fishermen who will see you with a fish on and either circle you under power
till you pull it out the water or come right on in under power and throw an anchor
farther than any Olympic shot putter and start fishing right besides you.
