Default Houston River 8/19/2018

Fished 6:30-3:45pm. Picked up one here and one there but unable to figure out a pattern. Also caught 14 small sunfish and two small bass (these were released).

Gonna try after work this evening. Very seldom fish Crappie late but who knows they may be biting better

Default Houston River 8/19/2018

I tried jigging treetops and stuff, but nothing.
Cast and retrieve. I pulled 3 nice ones out of one spot, but other than that, it was one here and one there. Tedious work. It may be a different story with live bait, though.
The goggleye/ bream/ chinquapin are real tight to the bank.
