Default Duck observations

Tonight while mowing I saw the first 7 gadwalls of the fall. They flew over five minutes after sunset. I picked out the black rumps of three drakes. Local squealers got out of here the third week in September. I think a few wood ducks have joined the locals. They have begun to commute at sunset for the last two weeks. Local woodies in my area are reluctant to fly and usually do so in the afternoon (10-4). Blue wings have thinned out ,but I'm sure there some more coming.

I was begging my guide on my muley hunt to let me shoot the 200 mallards or 100 canadiens they had in this pond out there. I even offered him $200 bucks. That was all the cash I had on me. Still wouldn't bite. I was foaming at the mouth.
