Default Goose hunt

GOT THIS PICTURE IN AN EMAIL FROM A FREIND. ONE OF HIS BUDDIES WENT ON THESS GOOSE HUNTS IN TEXAS NOT SURE ON THE DATE. 82 BIRDS KILLED ONE DAY AND I THINK 33 ON THE NEXT. JUST THOUGHT THEY WERE PRETTY COOL PICS AND WANTED TO SHARE.

snows are just so hard to kill, and if you have no bodies around your area than it's just not worth the time or money to do it. Now if you just want to go on a great speck hunt then contact specklebelly hunt club they'll put you on them.

I'm not sure what part of texas or what guide service he went with, but that sure is a pile of birds.

You're 100% right on the snows Chris. Also thanks for the reccomendation. We can definately do our best to put people on some specks. Snows are a different story. We have had hunts where we have killed a PILE of snows, but that has to be the absolutely right day. Typically, late 2nd split fog with bodies close to us will produce a good snow shoot. Also, 2nd split nasty windy day with a front in sight will produce some snows as well.

cmcnabb, what does a hunt like that run? we use to hunt thornwell and killed a lot of geese but that's been along time ago.

I said Id like to go in Louisiana b/c 8 of us took a charter hunt out of Katy,Tx and were very disapointed! After drivin that far and buyin out of state licenses I said id never go back.I used to have a lease in Gueydan but if you dont have a large spread your wastin your time.
I build fiberglass pit blinds and would swap a blind for a trip or two?! Id be happy to just shoot a few geese!
