Thanks fellas. Buck fever lasted about an hour. Deer walked from behind me about 10' and I couldn't get my gun up in time. Shot him at 70 yards quartering away from me. Hit every organ inside. No meat wasted. Deer cut a front flip and took out a 3" pine sapling and fell in a creek bottom.

He was 31" green score and 108 lbs. A year and a half old. I'm a greedy bastard because I'm typing this in the deer woods again this evening. Thanks for all the support. He'll fry up real nice.

Hell yeah That's my buddies idea. It works. Why hang it in a tree when you can use a swing. I'm still pumped up !!!

Congrats man, that is awesome. Nothing like getting that first one. Buck fever never really goes away, the fever is just not quite as extreme after the first 20 or 30.

Bigger than my first deer. Thing was 45 pounds plus the 30 pellets of buck shot I put in him. Jumped 2 does today. Gonna go back and see if I can't stick one.
