4th Annual Cajun Castaway Announcement

Please mark your calendar for Sat Sept 22 for the Cajun Castaway kayak fishing tournament. Pack and Paddle and Native have pitched in once again and donated a Native Manta Ray for this event.

The event will have a new format. Check it out-

DOUBLE SLAM CHALLENGE: The allowed fish are: Redfish 16 to 27" / Speckled Trout 12" min / Flounder 12" min. The best possible stringer would include 2 SLAMS: 2 Redfish, 2 Trout and 2 Flounder. Here's how it works: Weigh 1 complete SLAM (1 trout / 1 red / 1 flounder) to be eligible for a 1# bonus and to be able to add to a 2nd SLAM. Then additional fish (1-3) may go towards a 2nd SLAM. Anglers who weigh a 2nd complete SLAM will receive another bonus 1#. Examples are on the event page above

Whatcha mean? All you have to do is know which fish you want to weigh in and weigh them in.

We usually have 30-40 fish our events. Entries are slow to come in right now though. Great chance for someone to win a brand new kayak.

This tournament is a Double slam. Must have at least one complete slam to win. One slam gets you a bonus lb and completing a second slam gets another lb bonus.
