There is a 12ft native manta ray for sale on LKFC. Save your gift card for all the stuff you need for fishing out of kayak...

I'll be meeting up with him on friday to take a look at it and maybe try it out.

I will say that is just about exactly what i was looking for, as far as color and the fact that it has a few extras already.

I'll most likely be a kayak owner on friday. Can you carry a 12ft kayak in the bed of a truck(4 door chevy) without a any problems?

hunting is relatively easy out of a kayak... as long as you keep paddle movements to a minimum and don't lose your balance when you lift up to shoot... other than that just make sure the weight of the shell bag and gun and other stuff is evenly distributed... but thats a given...

The members who own trucks put up to 14' kayaks in their bed. 2 kayaks usually fit as well. You'll just need to figure out strapping it down in the bed but that shouldn't be any problem with tie downs/ropes/bungies. I own the manta ray. You are welcome to take it out on Friday and test it out. There is a launch in the Vermilion River down from my house or you can head to lake martin with it. I don't have a paddle to spare though. I can throw in a stake out pole anchor.
