Default Quick Trip

My son is coming home for a wedding this weekend and I have him a new Kayak to try out, anyone fished around 210 or know water condition, he goes to school in Minnesota and wants to make a quick trip while he's home.

Haven' heard too much about Prien. Probably a little fresh. I would point him in the direction of West Cove Marsh. Even if its windy he can catch reds and flounder.

Windy at West Cove Saturday but we managed a few flatty's, one 20'' Red and a 20'' Spec before we gave up. Wind was just to much to fight.
They tasted real good yesterday!!!

We fished the Marsh, green gulp did the trick. plan on going back this weekend with the weather forecast we have. I want to post pictures but haven't been able to figure out how yet. If anyone has some real simple instructions I could sure use them.

Went to Point Saturday and lost the BIGGEST SPEC I've ever seen in my life, not crying about it cause I know it's still swimming around. Did manage a limit of Reds and a couple of more specs.
Monday was a different story, had to dodge wakes from people who shouldn't own a boat, thanks to the guys and girls who do know how to drive a boat.

Default Quick Trip

Have had them eat trout off our stringers in the surf before. We started using baskets after that. I don't go very far out anymore when I'm in the surf. Have caught way too many sharks.
