Default Think we'll get another big freeze?

I'm getting the itch to put some tomato and pepper plants in the ground soon. Winter hasn't been as harsh as last year. Don't know if i wanna gamble before March.

The old folks usta say do not plant anything till the pecan trees bud. Well mine sit there not a bud in sight. February is usually the coldest month so I wouldn't jump the gun just yet.

The high today is only 55F and I hadda drag out a flannel shirt and my ole blue jean jacket. So I guess this is winter. Step son up in NY state said it took him 2 and a half hours to drive home from work which is about 2 miles away. he said with the snow above the roof of the car on the side of the road it makes stop signs and such very dangerous. I said I think i'll go pick another grapefruit my screw driver is getting empty. :-)
