Bounce Da beach!!!!!!

Smacked em sunday at the beach in Johnson Bayou!! Top water was the ticket! 10 Reds and 24 trout. Coulda caught way more if we woulda been prepared with a stringer or a basket. Took alot of time to walk every fish to the beach. Early is the key on the ends of the rocks. Caught a few on tight line finger mullet after 8 am but mostly topwater. Water was awesome. Belly deep and I could see my feet! Going back soon!!!!!!

Picture makes them look smaller too. Nothing huge but some solid 4-5 pounders.

Nice solid fish you got there! Thanks for the report.

When are you going back? I'd be interested in tagging along if you'll have me.

It really didn't seem to matter. I threw a Bone/chrome,chartrues Super Spook early and caught my biggest ones. They started missin the big one so I downsized to a Super Spook Jr and they hammered that one in chrome black back. I think it was just the action as my buddy had just as much luck on a Badonkadonk in a clown color.

Nice! Had a yak out there one day last summer. First time using one and it was great! I was hooked ever since. Just need to get the money together to get myself one now.
