Default Coonass invasion of South Tejas

Fishings been put on hold for the last week. Got on a new ranch in South Tejas this year soI had to build and new blind. Rolled out friday to erect blind, install feeder and hookup the Fema Camper. Figured the Texans got a good laugh seeing this roll down I-10.

Whats up with the fence around the feeder, my thoughts are to keep the hogs out and the deer can jump it to eat?

Most of the Texas ranches have cattle r sheep the fences r to keep them out... At least that's what we have them for.

I hunted there last year on a management weekend with a friend. Got invited to join and after what I saw last year and had to let walk I had to join. I killed 2 8 points and took pics of the 10's.

Thats what the panels are for. 40" panels so the deer can clear them but the hogs can't. Also we adjusted the feeder to throw in the pin so the hogs don't get anything and hopefully won't com around.

Nice "Culls"

My friend has a lease just past Refugio and Woodsboro on the northwest side of Hwy 77. I love it down there. Good luck this year and hope you get a biggun!! I think they had much better water this year so its supposed to be much better than last year.

if you like Fresh Taco then you will love the one just to the West down Broad street, Victoria's Taqueria. They used to work at fresh tacos and moved to open their own place.
