Default Lake P 21 Apr

Was able to get off work early and decided to see what was going on at the Causeway. Arrived and before you know it I had four trout in the boat all over 17". I just knew it was about to be on fire and then I hooked up again, this time I could tell the fish on the other end was much larger than the previous four, went to grab the net as I could see the fish coming into view and it was a monster. As soon as I had the net in hand the line went slack She came off, yeap She would have been the next fish on my wall but I guess it was just not to be.

After she got off I did not get one more bite the rest of the day, it turned off just like that. I also noticed the wind had died completely and the lake was going slick.

It was a good day, four very nice trout
