I like those trailers.... I haul both of mine around in a 16ft. tandem axle...I would like a smaller one for ATV's but do not want to own 2 trailers so I just have the big one....

Most trailers will have 2500 - 3000lb axles, at least the ones I had. Just keep in the the GVWR. It might say 2995lb, but that accounts for trailer wt. plus cargo together. I have seen many idiots with overloaded trailers on the road. I saw a guy once on I49 that flipped a truck and 16' trailer, with what looked like enough lumber to build a house!

i pull a trailer everyday full of tools for my crews when i buy a new one i will upgrade the Axel for sure it is always better to be safe than sorry also a tandem axle is easier ride and to maneuver. just my cents

I bought one similar to the one pictured about 5 years sgo. The trailer is 14 x 6'8", has wrap around tounge, 4" c channel frame and a 5600lbs single axle. It is very stout and can haul some weight. I put my Kodiak in the front loaded from the side and my dads 650 prairie loaded from the rear with room for some ice chest. Only thing is I should have gotten tandem axle but, I wanted a single. The sideloader is the best option. Go get one but bring alot of money. They dont give them away.

Also the double axle will be better on gas and if you do happen to get a blow out on a single axle trailer with 2 bikes on it they tend to do some crazy stuff. had a buddy lose a tire and ended up messing up one of his bikes pretty bad. he couldnt control the trailer after the tire blew up and hit a post or sign on the interstate.

You don't need a big trailer, just learn how to organize a little better!

I have a 16' tandem. I can haul 2 honda ranchers, both have drop (extended) baskets. If I put them on the trailer there's no extra room, can barely put the tailgate up. Not enough room to put hardly anything on the sides. I built racks to load the bikes from the side & have plenty of room to put icechest etc. Can put up to four bikes now. I'll take a couple pictures this evening & show you what I'm talking about, works awesome!

I was looking for the same thing as you are a couple of months ago. I looked at all brands of trailers in houston and found that the brand Trail Master is the best trailer for the money. One thing I highly recommend is going with a pipe top trailer rather than angle iron. It will be much sturdier.

I had some things change up so I did not need it. If I did need one I would go straight there and buy it. If you look on craigslist you will see them listed. I think some are listed cheaper than normal by the guy who runs the place. The best way to search craigslist for the is to find one of his post and get the phone #. Then put the phone # in the search box. This will pull up all of their post. Also you should get the bulldog hitch. I understand it is worth the extra money.
