Default Beach this eve report

Me and feesherman went this evenin to the beach. Wind was blowin out the north all the way down there. When we got to the T the flags were whipping hard with southwest wind. But the water on the beach was still pretty and waves were low. High pressure had it beat down. Saw some birds workin so we stopped. Made a wade had one blow up. Then nothin. So moved spots. Got to the water it was really pretty. Mullet everywhere. Started fishin and trout were jumpin out the water chasing bait. But wouldn't touch a topwater. Tried plastics. Wouldn't eat. So I castnetted some mullet and it was on. Every cast was a bite on mullet. Feesherman stayed with the topwater and started pickin em up and I fished mullet. If he woulda fished Mullet too we woulda had way more. We didn't have a minnow bucket or stringer so it was back to the beach every cast for me. Next time I'll be prepared.

those are nice ones. on the same live bait note. talked to a buddy of mine and without divulging too much, he is very secretive so i don't want to spill the beans, free-lined shrimp was out fishing plastic 25 to 1 in BL. not even a split shot! the heat has got them on the live bait kick I'm thinking.

Some of those trout we caught had shrimp whiskers sticking out of their throats.

Nice report top dawg. Mulate's. I have flat tore em up at Holly Beach on Mullet. If schools of finger mullet are swimming by at the beach that is usually what they are eating. The way those specks eat those mullet too.....Like the mullet disgraced the specks' mother or something. Violent!
