Went fishing with Ray today and we headed to the south end of the lake. The water was awesome looking. I have never seen the water that clear before, but I don’t fish biglake a lot. Started off the day using the Egret Kick A Mullet in the pearl white color and were able to pick up four nice trout right off and then nothing. We switched to the wedge tail mullet in the cajun pepper color on a 1/4 oz jig head and the bite turned back on. Ray also caught a seagull and we also had a pelican ride on the boat with us for awhile. When we were heading back to the landing we found four deer swimming across the channel. It was a good day with all the wildlife happening around us, we didn’t break any weight records on the fish we caught but they were good solid fish. We kept enough to bring home for supper.

Nice. This time of the year normally holds a good amount of bigger fish around the old tank battery area. Great memories on topwater and salt pepper slimy slugs there in September with "green" water. Nice report

One of them had a funny looking tail. Not flat like the others.
