I know they have been catching a few in the bay at the usual spots. Have not been paying attention to wind or tides, but it should be salty.

Went to the bay today and it was rough. We caught two really nice specks and a couple undersized reds. Anytime now it should turn on.

They had some guys next to us catch about 7 or 8 specks with live shrimp. They left in a hurry for some reason.

You can catch reds and some nice cats in the lake but you won't catch specks in the lake.

I have caught trout many times in the lake, around october on a slow outgoing tide, water has to be salty in the bay for a while before some decent water will get in the lake.

Yes, if everything aligns just right you can catch some in the lake but I was talking about right now you won't catch any. Just don't want him to get confused by our mixed reports .
