Or a good cider switch, or a fly swatter like my mom used. Parents need to be whipped also.

IMO.....The parents of today's children are the major cause of the problems with the moral standards of our society. Strict, but fair and consistent discipline is a must for children. They need the discipline to give them direction in life. "Time Out" must have come from the Democratics.....worst thing ever used to correct a child.

When wanting a child to do something [example: pick up your toys]......if your first responce was not obeyed. Give the child a choice: you pick it up now or I will put it away for a week. Or....pick it up now, or you will get spanked, not get to watch TV, use Phone or something similar. The child has to decide what to do.

A lot of children [young adults ?] have not been taught that it takes hard work and respect of others to "earn" the things that they want to have.

OK...enough for now.

I'd slap my boy hard enough that his hat would be on straight afterwords!

That all falls on the parents! I wouldn't be surprised if one of their parents was the one who snapped that stupid picture!

Lol!! That response is a direct result of good parenting!! I grew my hair long for a while but, the wasteline of my jeans were always at my waste! My dad would have slapped the taste out of my mouth if I'd tried to be a "thug"!

I had A.D.D. (attention deficit disorder) for about an hour when I was a teenager. After a couple whacks to the head, I got my attention span back...
