samething happened to us about a year ago.

Still a pain in the azz. Bank had to issue new debit cards.
Besides whats the worry W you have plenty money, I was just thinking about asking you for a loan.

W.....help us old folks out.

How did you "catch" this person using your account?

If it happened to me.......it might take me a few days [or longer] to know something happened.

I check my account everyday in the afternoon....... I always look into each account I have everyday even my retirement and CDs

Once I saw the charges I called my wife to make sure it wasnt something she bought... Which I new she would not spend 1600 with out saying anything....

Then i called my bank officer and told them what was going on...They said as long as its still pending it was ok...... So I moved all my money out of Checking into saving...pretty much zero my account....So Monday morning they can handle it up with the places that the charges are made.....Then file a police report and I hope I find the low life who did this......... HE had to put a shipping address for the boxes......

I can check my credit card and bank stuff online. I check it every morning and evening.
My parents were on vacation in Pittsburg and someone rented a room in Houston at the same time. It threw a flag at Visa and they called my parents. They were able to get the person who did it in Houston. If my parents hadn't used their card that day in anothter state, it would not have did anything to alert Visa.
